It seems like an epic story line. A queen ant with many amorous males. Plummeting as a ball from atop tree once critical mass achieved. Magpies (c10 ) waiting for supper falling from above. Picking tentatively at ball of jackjumpers? eating one at a time until all consumed. Then repeat.
