I removed the net and reported it to the local ranger. I have previously removed other nets but this is the first of this style.

Please report these illegal nets to Access Canberra. The information gets passed on to our Fisheries Enforcement Officer who follows up on these and keeps and eye on these areas.

Its probably being used by a rakali. Though they usually use a flat area near the creek as a table and live in the hole.
